OCTOBER!

The most impressive month of all months
Autumnal Arrival
October Occurrence
presented profoundly worldwide
the poet's deep pride

BUT

with Katrina constantly on her back
WOW! What a highway track! !

Sylvia was celebrating with family
the graduation of their youngest son
she herself drove the large rental car
they go up with all seven
with Katrina howling the longest
they all don't know Halloween
dangling with creepy puppets on blackened doors and window screens
as they had never seen

they never have this tradition
Halloween celebrations
Sylvia could not imagine Katrina´s strength
they have all endured the spooky highway length
deep thunders and lightnings
in Miami, under Florida Sunshine State´s sighings

as a unique prominence
Katrina came too early from her residence

There is peace everywhere
dinner time we visited Solo Restaurant
Solo? Silence and soulmate, solitude all around?
this is neither pleasant nor pretty
a good restaurant without guests
is like poems without readers

Today I realize,
this is my testimony
I provide thee
that moment in the U.S.A.
God was with us all the way
despite tremendous thunders
and lightnings
He kept pourring His Blessings
we returned safe and sound
despite howling Katrina at my neck
WOW! What a highway track! !
