Ode To A Piano.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Ode To A Piano....

Rating: 5.0

The Piano, inherited from my beloved Grandmum,
due to her I can play the piano

You are classic you are new fashioned
never an odd thing to play with
all tunes and tones mine you have been listening
and enduring my everlasting pains
when we are together why it always rains?
IZZIT because of the melancholy
In the tunes you play
or in the face I watch?

Each time I see you, I remember my beloved grandma
so classic and determined
yet so relevant in the present environment
you have eternal beauty

I regard you such a sweety
mine instinctive expression
of mine exstinctive inside
all my sense and sensibility
particularly expressed just for you
your classic Beauty and smart brains too

You are classic you are new fashioned
never an odd thing to play with
I am playing without concentration
but with succinct energy

you have enough appeal
you make me going on and on
you make me world famous
to be remembered till oblivion

I am oft in love
this time steadfast and going
in your classic Beauty
my love for you goes on and on
you are the one I wanted
to be with
till in oblivion....

In Gratitude Composed

The piano, your touching love for you grand mother, artistic poetic endeavor and music, all blended in a wonderful, flowing poem. A delicacy from a poet's heart written with such love and tender compassion.
