Of Little Importance
A grasshopper is God's creation!
A delightful grasshopper immensely helps the ecosystem
by considerably enhancing the beautification
of plants beyond human imagination!
A grasshopper died yesterday but the story
of his death was not reflected in a newspaper!
Nobody mourned the death of the grasshopper,
No gathering, no ceremony, no garland, no cremation,
No wastage of money, flowers, ghee, fire and woods,
No rituals, no such happenings were found.
A grasshopper does not recognize his father, his mother,
wife, children, and friends and he has no fear of earning
his bread and butter nor does he have the fear of losing
anything because he does not possess buildings, furniture,
utensil thus he is completely free from any assets and liabilities!
A grasshopper does not know material gains.
He does not participate in any competition
for the sake of getting any position!
A soul departed from this earth but there was
no condolence meeting and prayers for the departed soul
However, God has sent this agent to the earth
to take care of humanity and all creation.
There is no need to lament the departure of any creature
but love, admire, and respect God's wonderful creation!

Tiny creatures can be so very important to the ecosystem. I love this eloquent poem and its astute observations.
Very unusual topic. Nature's tiny innocent creatures like a grass hopper add beauty to the surrounding and their meaningful activities are to be greatly admired by us. Interesting to read

Only handful of people do notice and recognises these small creatures, though it serves universe immensely. A minutely observed poem.
