Today, those that entice the youth,
With satirical honey flavoured poisonous eloquence,
Neither nurtures the youth in need,
Nor do wish to miss their egoistic tea,
Television screen rains, young sweat & blood,
By stone pelting, lathi charge and the like Alas!
We are no better than scapegoat.
Our career, at stake!
Robust bunds and strikes: Accounted much,
For the present wretchedness,
Added Many Industries, MNCs crossed our borders,
Augmented transport charges; sky rocketing prices,
Innumerable power cuts yet shocking bills,
Broke the hip of common man
Transforming life; more miserable for poor,
Pushing our future: To slimy mire!
Hold on Oh Youth!
Fill not your appetite
With chaos and rampage
As of cold blooded murderers
For it doesn’t serve our purpose
To protest against mishaps
In a futile method:
Yet be in a pioneering way!
the fifth verse: hold on oh youth from that point on is the key to their awakening! excellent write!

A call to youth to aspire to greater things, to not be dragged down by the mundane and dangers of our world. Good, solid poem, Queeny.
