Overflowing Hope Poem by Meggie Gultiano

Overflowing Hope

It does not matter what situation you are in
How you feel, what you see
Hope is a powerful spiritual force
The platform on which faith stands

If we live our lives depressed and hopeless
We'll have what we expect
In His image, we will live lives full of hope
Be expectant that good things will happen to us
Then we will receive them

God wants to do more for us
Than we can ever imagine

Allow our minds to be renewed
A time of refreshing, restoring our soul
Because there's no greater blessings, no greater joy
Than being with HIM

Hope is wishing for something and expecting to receive it...now, the source from which it comes is an individual's belief or expectation. A divine explantion of hope is always welcome, thanks for inviting me to your site.

You are so right! Hope is the determining factor for us to survive! When we feel that everything is hopeless, we want to die... I think the saying that 'hope is the last thing leaving a man' is very, very true! By your strong believing poem you might act as an assistant hope for those who feel hopelessness right now... thank you...

'Hope springs eternal in the human breast; Man never Is, but always To be blest: The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home, Rests and expatiates in a life to come.' So writes Alexander Pope, in his Essay on Man. Your stirring words mirror those of Pope and show the reader that his message is as relevant today as it was when he penned it in 1733. May all those who are down-trodden be comforted by your beautiful poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
