People Are Beautiful
Waiting at the doctor's office
yesterday morning
when in walked a young woman
the color of a Hershey's
chocolate bar.
She had on a low-cut blouse
that showed the tops of
beautifully rounded
you-know-whats.
Her face was shining
because of her
lovely smile.
In the afternoon at the park
an old Navajo man
was playing with two
of his grandchildren.
All three seemed to
glow with happiness.
In Chinatown last fall
I was impressed that
all the people were more
like me
than they were different.
People are beautiful.
All are children of God.
Black is beautiful.
Brown is beautiful.
Red is beautiful.
Yellow is beautiful.
White is beautiful.
People are all beautiful.
Such a most powerful sound in this Beauty of a poem, but so sorry I am pale dear Belle, anyhow I like your poem very much as such, give this 5 Full Stars on Top!
