Plaudits. Poem by Jak Black

Plaudits.

Rating: 5.0

A lady I thought was a friend,
Rubbished the words that I penned.
She thought such a slur
Would be of profit to her.
For plaudits, she chose to offend!

from whence would come her profit? ? ? Few, .... But Fine Jak's offerings here are but few, in fact right now just three time 2. But it is often quality and not quantity... which tantalizes both me and, i think, you. bri :)

Your words speak for themselves, Jak, and when someone tries to misinterpret them, it is a feat that can only end in failure. And how succinctly you express your disappointment in this great little poem!

Envy is one of greatest motivation of our living.Do not forget it.The excellence gives it the material to live and exist upon.Do not worry.Your poems do a service needed in our world. That; s what your pen offered.
