Fortune thinks
We are kids
So She always plays with us
Dodging, blind and guessing games;
See-saw, hurdles, hide-n-seek;
Her swings of different, different nature,
Makes the life as a roller-coaster
All Her games are really strange
Never aught of our own choice;
That is why
She dodges us;
But She is right
'cause we are really foolish kids
Ignorant of her cunning tricks.
In this state
When we yield,
She conquers us and wins...
Who hath dallied with Fortuna and won her sidelong glances.... no Achilles thus yet born, who dallies with her tresses as the flute of time plays no lips that held her pinned nor hands that felt her ever soft the fickle Fortuna here so well laid out in stunning silhouettes speaks an alien language to the one who seeks great lines…. context 10 content 10 :) …with pleasure
Nobody has ever won against fortune.You can only win with fortune.The one who says i won against is a liar therefore or exaggerator.Fortune is personified here in the form of a woman.Swirls and twists and therefore sweepstakes.Only sometimes it is not the lavazza senorita. Well said ideas.Fortune is invincible so unpredictable.
Nemesis plays a vital role in our life.I believe it. Representation of the theme is marvelous.
fortune plays games with our minds. when we yield she conquers us and wins.
Great piece of poetry - we are all the designers of our own fortune. Very well written.
Fortune is the play, and we the actors and actresses, and we read to Her script. Well done!

I like it. Reads well and leaves one with a worthwhile tone. Read mine - Memory Is a Cheating Thing - Adeline
