Polluting Politicians
the beauties that GOD has given
makes this life worth living.
you see his beauties every day
it is something that won't wash away.
and to him i do pray.
we pray to you with all our might.
for a little bit more of 'insight'
open the eyes of the public
so that they can see.
that we must leave something
to future families.
we must give the politicians a time frame
and have them stop playing these games
the games is whats destroying this nation.
let's get them to work for future generations.
of global warming they all speak
but when they have the bill in front of them
they just take a peek.
we are destroyong this world
from the inside out.
'is this what lifes about'?
we are polluting our streams, rivers
and oceans too.
how much more are we going to do?
our streams used to be crystal clear
now to look- we must take fear.
tires, cars, metals of all sorts
are lying in the rivers and streams.
let's pick them up and get them clean.
they are sinking battleships in the oceans
and they claim it's to make reefs?
take these ships and recycle the metal
to be used for our future generations.
if you don't want retaliation.
scientists are already seeing
that in a few more years, we won't be breathing.
we are taking all the oxygen from the air.
is'nt that something that we should 'fear'
pollution has gotten so heavy and thick
that's whats making the public sick.
it's time to turn this earth around
so future generations can be found.
let all the politicians know today
that we want to live a better way.
very true and applicable to all nations...their games and greed to stay in power...makes them see no further...we have picked them from the common..yet once they are there they behave differently...a very good write

So right on, Proof is shown in the electric car being taken off the market because money wouldn't be made but it would of helped our enviorment in may ways. All the money that is given for Cancer and they tell us a cure hasn't been found. BS You said a mouthful Louis, and a good point at that. 10++
yes... you said it well indeed sir.... Yeah according to bible, god created the world. When he created the world, the world is as beautiful as ever..... Then men fell for temptation, evil.... then world become a sinful place.... The man's over ambitious nature has driven this world mad... ambition for money, power has turned the world in to a sinful place.... The case is this, I see politicians make lots of grand eloquent speeches, yet do they put them in to practice? ... most times 'no' I guess.. us poet write lots of inspirational poems and write great words of wisdom too...... so i feel, it's high time even us put our hands up and do something about all the carnage that plague this world, rather than just writing about these things.. I mean any one can make grand eloquent speeches, what matters is how they put all those words in to practice. lets keep our fingers crossed and see, that Barack Obama will make right decisions... again a good write.. but as people, we must take responsibility too.. yeah we want to live in a better way! ! ! To certain extent agree with your words but how far we can blame politicians and politics for the problem is to be questioned. Nature is everyone's, so we all are responsible for it.Nice thought woven in this page.
