Prayer-Brown Hare Poem by Loke Kok yee

Prayer-Brown Hare

Rating: 5.0

Goddess of the forest- - - - - - - -hear my prayer
Is it feeding foxes- - - - - - - - - why we are here?

Throughout the year- - - -four litters we produce
Only to be prey- - - - - - - - - for reasons abstruse

We'll all be a running- - - - - - when the fox's near
For his presence- - - - - - - -do put us in great fear

Give us a beast- - - - - - - - -that will on foxes feed
And we'll have peace- -when little hares we breed

But please don't stop us- - from what we are blest
For procreating- - - - - - - - - - - is what we do best
O wise Flidais- - - - - - - - - this we humbly suggest

Of course, bunnies would pray to be able to be able to procreate. It's what do best. : -)
