Proper Choice Poem by Bob Blackwell

Proper Choice

Rating: 5.0

The proper way to care,
shines bright for all to see.
Lets choose this path of truth,
let us learn to accumulate,
the knowledge, the reality,
the essence of right living.

A life were we share resources,
ensure there’s food, water,
a place called home for all.
With compassion learned, we’ll
have concern to conserve and
care for the future of our World.

loved this poem bob.shows your thoughtful nature and you suffering fellowbeings, who dont have a place called home.it is very sad but world is divided between haves, and have nots.when the need of man grows beyond tolerance, then there is revolutons.very thoughtful poem and i liked it.

'a place called home for all'. That line alone paints nostalgic images in my mind. If only it could be so. Your idealism becomes you. Goodness has its own reward. Inspiring write. Always your friend, Sandra

Sorry to put a damper on some idealist notions but the deciding factor at the end of the day is persuit of power driven by greed.Perhaps if we were prepared to actually DO something about fair distribution of the worlds resources we may call ourselves conservationists.... Just a thought and I have no answer, Sid.

So very true Bob - we all have choices and the proper one must always be the one of care for others. Very wise verses. Thank you.
