Proud Of Vinhie.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Proud Of Vinhie....

Rating: 5.0

Proud Of Vinhie….

This time I want to address my two very young grandsons
who are not yet in school.

Later they can read this for themselves,
my dear daughter-in-law will read it now for him, I know,

dear Vinhie,
red, white and blue,
grandma only loves you!
and:
one two three four,
playing together gives you much fun and more!

now we are in corona time,
it does not matter to you,
because you can go to your class every day,
it is never closed because of the working mothers,
daddy will take you to class daily when he goes to work,
daddy will pick you up again.

It is not always easy for daddy,
because sometimes he cannot leave at all,
since patients are still waiting for him.

His hospital never has closing time,
it doesn't have a day off.

You can go to school every day,
which is great for you, you don't have to miss your friends,
and because you can see:
mama is busier after the birth of your brother,
he has to drink milk every three hours,

Mommy will read the children's poem separately,
it will be a party,
because Grandma has done her best
to write a very nice story poem
especially for you,

goodbye my dear Vinhie,
it will be delivered to your home,
another exciting story.

The postman now has more to do than before.
Grandma is very happy that the post still exists.

It reminds grandma of the heyday of the post.
Till another story, dear Vinhie,
lots of love and kisses
from grandma Syl

Thank you so much dear Edward. Your comments and compliments do flatter me.Thank YOU! Of course, I still know the time Vinhie was celebrating his first Birthday in Ghana and according to Ghanaian tradition, the one whose Birthday this is, must eat a cooked egg we were already at home, since we stayed only rtwo weeks in Ghana (I always stay 2 weeks,3 weeks will be too long for me) but I have told you that we have been in Ghana for our first grandkid. God's Blessings!

Two very young grandsons of yours who are not yet in school, are very cute and affectionate. You are very nice grandmother. We read your emotion and expression in this much lovable poem. They are playing safely at home and working mother is not worried because daddy takes care of them. May God bring unlimited happiness for them. This poem is excellently penned. Grandmother'S beautiful story they will hear of course...10
