POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We poets are oftentimes quite critical of ourselves, constantly searching for a better way to convey whatever it is we wish to impart.
'Red 2' is somewhat an expanded version of my original 'Red'. I wanted this one to rhyme. Plus, many more things that were red came to mind, and I wanted to add those.

Thank you, Rebecca. Great to hear from you, as I went through a very rough patch last week. (But this week's been markedly better!) Thank you for your generous comments. Smiling back at ya!

Excellent and inclusive but you get to the main point immediately - red lips and valentines.

Haha Barry, LOVE it! Spoken from the true heart of a man! There was a show on t.v. Called, Everybody loves Raymond. But on Poem Hunter, it's plain to see That Everybody loves Barry! He's gorgeous, sensitive, and sweet And brilliantly talented Lest I inflate his ego too much, For now, that's enuff said!
