Can we remember it's the season
That we should be thinking about the Prince of Peace?
Without killing each other
Can we hold a loved one and watch them smile
As the tears of joy fall
And the belly laughs keep coming
An embrace is what's truly needed
As the silent night is comforting
With a roaring fore to warm our hearts
The snow gently cascades outside
As the star shine more brightly
We wait for Him to arrive
Kissing the night sky
A very timely, optimistic and spiritual reminder and tribute to what Christmas is all about. And to think that the powers-to-be are trying to steal Christmas from us because they think that it's politically incorrect! The world has gone mad!
Filled with such hope and beauty! .. And so heartwarmingly painted! .. Endless 10's and Stars! +++++++++++++++++++++
The true meaning of Christmas is evoked in this lovely and very meaningful poem.5 stars
A beautiful season of love well captured. Thanks for sharing
"Prince of Peace", of course! But, LeeAnn, where's peace? Nice poem. Let us welcome Him and let's hope to enjoy peace once again
