Rhymeless Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Rhymeless

Rating: 4.3

The waves of life
toss and tumble
No rhyme,
only jumble
Giant waves
towering, swallowing.
Small ones
cowering below,
weighed down
by existence.

A mortal existence is always nonsense, sometimes life seems a byproduct or a product loss. A philosophic poem.

This poem is as loud and traumatic as the tanka is quiet and reserved. You create a dramatic moment, leave it suspended and close the poem in h-o-p-e.
