Roaring Silence
Rating: ★5.0
The letter burning a hole,
in the pocket of his soul,
Infidelity-a weapon deadly
fatal to mortals fragile..
A fair angel he thought
but with a dark mind, he realised
A soul mate he trusted,
but with betrayal in her veins...
Greed dangled its ugly bait,
Kicking aside a broken heart,
She left to colour her life
with the blood of another victim...
Like a noose dangling-the blow
Clouding his vision with tears aflow
unaware of the wind biting
Chilling his already numb body...
His faltering steps searching unknowingly,
for that place of no return,
The comfort of eternal slumber-
to quieten the roaring silence!
