Satish Gujral- An artist of renown
Lost his hearing at the age of eight
He has always been compensating
The stillness of his silence by art
A series of operations on his leg
Affected a nerve leading to his ear
And took away his world of sounds.

Satish Gujaral, the brother of late Mr. I.K Gujral, the former Prime Minister Of India is a great artist of renown though he has lost his hearing power at the age of eight. We know him as an artist of international acclaim. His paintings are sold or auctioned in India and abroad for astronomical amounts and are in the possession of connoisseurs of arts. I have attended one of his exhibitions many years ago showcasing many of his paintings and sculptures using multiple mediums.
