Saturday Night - Poem by Brandi Vail

I listen as the song plays on the radio.
How pathetic can I get?
I’m sitting at home,
All alone,
On a Saturday night.
No invitations to parties.
No dates with a hot guy.
Just me, myself, and I.
Sitting at home, with an ice-cream bucket,
A big spoon, and the radio
As I sit and miss the love of my life.
