Save Me! Poem by VIPINS PUTHOORAN

Save Me!

Rating: 4.0

I open the casement of my soul
To encamp me into your tent of life,
As I'm a temporary tenant in this world,
I want to be with the one I believe.

Be a shining loadstar to my sky
And guide me to elysian savanna,
Through your astral path,
And feed me with your manna.

Pour in my heart the elixir of love;
As my heart wants to be a cirrus cloud
Be a rising Sun in every dawn
And be a vesper in every eve.

The land and the sky are wide,
But nor I can walk or fly here
As I'm legless and wingless
In front of the stare of the world

But I cannot hide my eyes from their gaze.
When the dark clouds of my despair,
Glomerating and gushing incessant tears,
Of remorse in my every noon of night.

I drown into a bottomless abyss,
In the sea of my wounded tears
Where I drink the salinity of sin.
Where I'm alone and dying alive

O, Save me from this hell,
Lave my sin wholly,
And give me a holy life.
''I'll be your Slave for ever''.

To encounter misfortune as a sojourner in a strange place is greatly despairing, as the heart turns to God, its only Help - seeking pity with a remorseful plea, knowing that the time for an inevitable change is come. Deep and poignant with powerful message.

'And I'm drowning to a bottomless abyss in that sea of tears, By swallowing the salinity of sin.' I have no words to express..... I just remember John Keats eternal poetic line 'If he is poet, sure a love too! A can see profound pall of gloom sprinkled in some of your love poems. I think you are a genuine lover. But I am sure that you have a swallowed the dictionary.......There is passion and desire in your poems.... Outstanding write... Give you a royal treat.....

This is an amazing poem, it describes perfectly the way humans wait for love to come and save them and when it does we will willingly be bound to them for all of time. I love it.

Hmm, wow! This verse is so so beautiful. You're one of the best griots that i have ever read their works.I admire your style, the way your thoughts flow in the lines & your economy but simplicity of words. The poem is philosophical as well as theological. It calls on the Rissing Sun to reflect His effulgence of elegence on the map[perhaps, destiny]of the poet's persona. It's an urgent need cos the persona has alread submitted himself or herself to be consoled(see lines 1-10) .The poem is about general salvation of humanity because we're temporal tenants in the world.I rate high your imageries & diction. Appropriateness is your key here.Well written & award-winning! Kudos!
