Save Me - Poem by Nichole Hoehn

He said goodbye
And it made her cry
Because his goodbye meant never again
So not again meant her heart was broken
She doesn’t want to talk
She can’t even walk
She feels so empty
But the feelings are so diseasing
It burns and burns
But does it really hurt?
Is it just a mental excuse?
Or is it the pain
Or maybe it’s this stupid little love game
Oh I wish I could help her
Save me she screams
But I can’t
I can’t save her
I’m too busy
Fixing me…
