She Carries A Heavy Heart
There in the doorway
separated light from dark
there was a new day
but with it came a heavy heart
it was the price she paid
where turmoil was the trade
she left it all behind
there ahead was a new day
but bittersweet it was
right from the very start
for now and forever
she'll carry her heavy heart

A well written poem of pain and how we all carry some enjoyed
Carrying pain of the past and perhaps regret for the decision gone wrong. A sad poem that somehow resonates with me.
