Silently Into The Lonely Night
Silently into the dark and loneliest night
into the silence
of tha chilly night
with softest music did they us delight
a distant note
on a lively accordion
followed by a reverberation
on a violin
silently into the sheepish night
sounds of soft musical lovely notes
to our ears were like soothing anecdotes
melodious and soft musical lovely notes
to our ears were like refreshing anecdotes
silently into the night they strung
whistling by then had suddenly sprung
blowing clarinets from distant sand dunes
were like variable softly played sweet tunes
silently into the night
didn't you
Silently into the night
It came to me as a long distant dream
over the radio
as I heard drummers drum softly
into the EERIE night
as they all sang softly
perhaps for me

It is not the sound produced by notes and musical instruments alone, the silence between two notes, that around, the rhythmic sound and silence in between, that enhance the beauty of music. Lovely piece again dear poet PP.
