I was born in a bank - - my mother went there and made a deposit

Simple Question 04

Rating: 5.0

A woman gave a beggar a dollar
but the beggar was sore
and commenced to holler
that she should have given more.

The woman was the beggar's sister;
they had the same mother,
yet here's the story's twister:
the beggar was not her brother.

Is the reason plain?
How can you explain?

First correct answer wins 100 points, second wins 50, and third wins 25.
