Aging is a gift
A great gift you have had
What you have explored
To share with the world
Praising you as a perfectionist
For giving us the value
Of all creatures great and small
How can we not adore the smallest creatures?
Be it a pest
To the largest
As such an elephant
I think of you and your gift
You have given us all
Also I think of you
When I am so annoyed
With an insect above my door
In my room
Reaching for repellent spray
Wondering if you yourself
Can possibly be annoyed
By a fly
Thank you
You have achieved so much
Bringing this natural beauty
To our lives

Hi long time no see, . A great wonderful tribute to this nature presenter whose nature videos so many have enjoyed. He does justice to the wonders of God. Kudos.
Beautiful, in content, expression and soul! I agree completely, and I am so glad that you wrote and shared this poem! He deserves it. We who love nature are better off for having him amongst us.
This year (in U.S. in state of South Carolina) I found a small (young I guess) Copperhead (poisonous snake) poised beside a handtool I'd set down near me on the ground amid dried leaves. I deposited over our home's boundary
And THANKS to the camera operators et al as well. He may have catch-them-alive fly traps. When a fly is caught he drives 50 km to release it so it can bother SOMEONE ELSE! ! !
