Slipping Away Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Slipping Away

Rating: 5.0

Time slips away.
Each minute,
Each moment of every day.
Time does not wait.
It's like an open gate,
A porthole to our future fate,
transporting us each day.
Time is a sacred blessing,
Cherish each memory gained.
One moment we're young and agile,
Then one day it all slips away.
Hold on to those moments we cherish.
In our hearts they will surely stay.
Time slips away fore we know it,
To never relive those days.
