Smile Poem by Elena Sandu

Smile

Rating: 5.0

Smile is my best friend!
Wish I could always keep him close
But sometimes, like a precious rose
He dies too early for no reason
And that, after being spledid
for an entire season!

So true! Though I haven't seen you even in a picture, I feel you are a smiling friend who keeps Smile always close to you! At times it can fade.... so natural! Don't worry! Loved the poem!

smiling is my shield even when nothing goes right. Laughing at yourself is a great relief. So smile for yourself too! ! Lindíssimo!

Good poem. Smile touches the reders heart as the pain it gives by the fourth line...it dies too early for no reason......yes, it dies without any strong reason. Sorry, perhaps you have written...'He dies to early'.....why HE poet? ....to personify smile as a masculine one? .....why do you give such tolerance to male-sovinism! ....why? Short but good. Enjoyed. 10/10 Regards, pranab

'A smiler fell hard on the nose to the ground And from the lips came instead a a sort of crying sound Still a smile can always be found If the cryer just remember to look around ' Thank you so much for the comment, lovely done. Indeed, unfortunately it is true that if we look around sometimes we find someone to laugh at others cry But fortunately, pacient enough to be, shall look some more for sure we will find compassion smiles maybe even a hand to help the cryer stand.. a paper tish to stop the bleed and some plain stuff.. to stop the pain..
