Smile For Me 2 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I'm about to lay down and rest my weary body and mind,
give me a smile sweet lady to help put me at ease
and give me strength and peace to finally sleep.
You're smile is the light touch to help my
heart be filled with cheer as I close my eyes.
Smile for me and hold my hand.
I'm not feeling sad just worn down from not sleeping,
I just need your loving warmth to wrap me up
with you smiling, holding my hand, and pulling me
in tight to hold and feel comfort with you by me.
Smile and reach out I'll feel the power,
and I so much already do.
Smile for me and be filled with cheer,
your being happy will help me too.
I love you so much and want you here laying with me,
smile my dear and hold on very tight.
I need you sweet lady my Angel of light.
