Some Bonds Are Just Formed... Poem by Varsha M

Some Bonds Are Just Formed...

Rating: 5.0

The tiny little drops of rain
Weave the necklace of elegant pearl
As they meter their journey down
But the wind around can't whirl
Without her consent to be blown
So embraced her in arms full
Until hands fail to set horizon
Overflowing on her very own will
For wind and rain unite as one
Temple of wind on the rule
And comply the body of rain.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Inspired by Robert Frost poem lodged

Lodged by Robert Frost

The rain to the wind said,
'You push and I'll pelt.'
They so smote the garden bed
That the flowers actually knelt,
And lay lodged- though not dead.
I know how the flowers felt.

Tried to write on iambic trimeter I think..just trying to follow the meter.

I love the fascinating images created by the poet which transform a normal rain-soaked scene into a pageantry. Thank you so much.
