Sonnet 21: Your Sweet Love Is Such Music To My Ears Poem by David Wood

Sonnet 21: Your Sweet Love Is Such Music To My Ears

Rating: 5.0

Your sweet love is such music to my ears
A gentle symphony quietly played,
The sweetest music that any man hears
Always vibrant and alive, never staid.
I am the violin that you deftly play
With nimble fingers and such a light heart,
Our sweet love is the music of today,
And we the sweet lovers who play the part.
We have to keep that violin in tune
Or loves sweet song will be lost for ever,
And love, like a cool breeze can end so soon,
So those fingers should cease playing never.
That music and love can bring so much bliss
When two hearts are joined and sealed with a kiss.
