Sports 2 - Scale Of Croatia's Achievement
FIFA 2018 Football sprung many surprises,
Big names like Brazil and Spain made an early exit;
Behold! A small nation like Croatia emerged in style,
Fully prepared, persistent, punching the ball to score goals.
When a question was posed to the Croatians,
Winsome players who played such fine football,
Scoring goals after goals to reach the
Semi-finals, how did they beat the big England?
Pat came the answer with a laugh from Lovren,
Most unexpectedly, yet, most spontaneously,
"We have good mothers and fathers,
They are making good love"!
Croatia has a small population
Country that is the smallest, yet
Commendable nation that beat many,
Charging to reach the world cup final!
Croatia is, yet, to have national team or
Conditioned training camps or stadiums;
Croatian coaching model is based on
Control and development of individual skills.
Let us remember that Croatia was born out of
Balkan wars that slaughtered, rendered many
Brutally wounded and homeless.
Let us wish them good luck to win this match.
Luka Modric, the star of Croatian team has
Lived a frightful childhood having experienced poverty,
Dreadful wars and the pains of being a refugee, now,
Dedicated and determined to win the world cup!
Best wishes to the wonderful players of Croatia,
Bouquets of flowers for you for your incredible grit,
It does not, even matter, whether you get the cup in hand now,
It's already proved that you are a dream team of great spirit and hope!
I must switch between Tennis on Wimbledon and World Championship Football 2018, but I have seen this match too: Engeland vs Kroatia and as a bad habit I always guess intuitively the result. In most times it was the same result as the reality is. You are very fond of watching Football World Championship 2018, Dr. Geeta! .....Kroatia won! Thank you so much for this perfect detailed reporting.
