Still Winter Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Still Winter

Rating: 5.0

I dreamt of the sun's rays
Dancing with the leaves of that white maple
As they sway in the southwest breeze
The blue skies, so pure like yr eyes
On a beautiful Sunday morning
It's what I love to wake up to
There are no clouds to think of
Not a notion of rain to predict
Just a beautiful day to explore
The neighbourhood.....
Awaking to the grey skies
That continue to reign
They remind me it's still winter
