The Rolling Stones,
have turned to bones,
still their music rocks
Petrified trees,
have opal streaks,
through countless centuries
Diamonds are,
a girls best friend,
nesting on her finger
Inside the geodes,
amethysts dwell,
under the earth, they linger
You'll never break this heart of stone
was one of my favorite songs
So I say to The Rolling Stones,
keep on rocking on!
Bill check out my poem, Listening to the Stones Bravo for this one

Music has a universality and timelessness about it. Especially the music of the 70s and 80s is eternally alive.
