Strange Days Poem by hassan hayati

Strange Days

Rating: 4.0

Strange!
What a strange world
No one is true
No one has faith.
The birds like to sit. Not to fly.
The kisses don't make you so high.
In this chaos, I listen to your tale
Like a tied bird,
Like a prisoner in your jail.
The red roses have no smell.
Neither The old red wine makes you well
Without the red roses,
Without the red wine,
The paradise is merely a hell.
In this chaos, I listen to your tale
Like a tied bird,
Like a prisoner in your jail.
No heart is searching for yours.
No garden has got the open doors.
Even your chats to the Lord
Seems to have made him bored
In this chaos, I listen to your tale
Like a tied bird,
Like a prisoner in your jail.
What a world, sing of separation
Is heard anywhere
To our God there is no way
No ears to listen your pray
So naïve I listen to your tale
Like a prisoner I am in your jail.
I am in your jail.

At present maximum people of the world are such that they can't be trusted. They are like birds to sit, not to fly. There is chaos in our everyday life and we have nothing to tell like a tied bird or a prisoner in the jail. Dear Hassan, you have so nicely inscribed this in your poem that I appreciate very much. It is really a fantastic philosophical poem touching to psychology. Enjoyed with photo provided. Thanks a lot.

So well written, Hassan. Your style is attractive with metaphors in tune with nature, birds and flowers.
