A lion, a gazelle, and a giraffe
got together to have a good laugh,
but when lion ate gazelle,
the giraffe could then tell
he may have committed a gaffe.
The 'Get together' would have been nicer if the lion had not eaten the gazelle. I can understand the state of Giraffe...Thanks Kim. These stories teach us lessons....10
Geeta, thank you for commenting. I really wasn't trying to teach a lesson, just trying to get a laugh or two.
One of our fellow poets is coming out with fables from Indian classics. We may request him to narrate the fable of Friendship Between The Cat and the Mouse.
The Clown Prince of Poetry strikes again! Thanks for making me laugh!

Loved the poem. There is a similar tale in Indian Classic, The Pancha Tantra. I would narrate it one of these days. Thank You
