Take Care Of What You Write
Sometimes Poets write nonsense,
Just to have written something down,
But better tis, not to write any quiz
That makes intelligence frown
For the danger is, the Poet may look,
Like a silly, stupid clown.
I totally agree Sandra, poetry should make the heart leap, with words chosen carefully and dressed in a fashion that upbuilds its readers, I detest negativity and rudeness, they both disgrace poetry, great words in your poem my friend.
