Take Love Where You Find It
I know you're not the marrying kind
Your bad first marriage burned you.
But stop to notice, and you'll find
In me, a love rare and true.
You say you're old, set in your ways
You've been alone for too long.
But I can show you better days,
And you will sing a new song.
We know life gives no guarantee,
Clock dies before you wind it.
Let me re-charge your battery,
And take love where you find it.

So if you've given up on love, and you should be lucky enough to know someone who loves and accepts you for you, I say go right ahead and accept that love that is so freely offered and given. Love brings comfort in these uncertain times.
Take the leap of love. Life is too short to live unhappy. You said it right, girl! When you find it, don't let it get away!
When you find it. Or, when it finds you! We don't know if we'll ever get another chance at love, so we should go with what we have. Just let yourself be loved. It makes life so much more pleasant! Thanks, Aqua, for your insightful and observant comment! : -)
