Thank God! ! - Poem by Rajnish Manga

Thank God! !
As you are back
From the tunnel of death,
trapped inside the murky depths
for nine days;
When a part of the tunnel caved in
And the fate of you two was sealed
In uncertainty for such a long duration.
Oxygen, food and communication restored
We can understand your emotions
When you tearfully asked the officers outside
To look after your family
It was no less than an ordeal and a miracle.
Your indomitable spirit
And the daunting task of the rescue team
With their skills and machines
Calibrated the long rescue work
Without a pause dug a big hole
Into the rocky tunnel
And turned despair into hope
Out you came in your world of light.
Thank God! !
Thank You, Administration
Thank You, Rescue team
God Bless You.

Such operations need a lot of skill, technological backing, determination to act and will to succeed in this kind of a mission. It serves as a morale booster for the agencies involved. Thanks a lot, Michael.
