Whatever may be the size
of any living body,
the basic structural and functional
unit is the cell.
The creator provided a boundary
called the cell membrane or wall
with many microscopic pores
for entrance and exit
of different materials.
Its inside has many compartments
in the form of membrane bound structures
(nucleus, mitochondrion, golgi body, ribosome)
which are meant for specific functions.
Specific functionality of one
compartment helps to facilitate non-interference and smooth operations.
Is it not akin to our house plans?
Boundary with gates
for entrance and exit,
inside the whole house, we make
drawing room, bed rooms, kitchen,
toilets, store room etc. to carry on
man's different needs and actions.
Even at the larger organismic level,
we have different systems that
co-operate in ordered regulation.
Imagine the worst conditions we
might have faced in the absence
of this compartmentalisation.
The creator is the best architect
to have inducted in us
the knowledge for our smooth life.
Let us strive to understand and follow
his inherent intricacies
to enjoy our lives
without any strife.
