The Biggest Sin - Poem by Vikram G. Aarella

If you think you are clean
Can overcome your karma, prevail and win,
You are mistaken my friend,
Being born as a human itself is the biggest sin.

Today I wonder, what is sin,
Is that the fish living without Fin?
To murder, to kill, to lie, to rob
But to some this is just a job.

    To disagree with religion
    that is on my will
But what is the most deadly sin?
Is it adultery or bribe just to win?

When I met you, something strike my heart
I felt that, you were meant to be my part.
Then I understand, what Sin is deadliest of all?
It will be none other, but if in your love, I fail to fall…

VIK YOUR PRIEST IS CORRECT, BUT IT IS OF OUR OWN DOING THAT WE
LIVE & DIE AS SINNERS...at birth we are cleansed from ''Original Sin'', but what we do w/ our lives once we reach the 7TH year...''The Age Of Reason''...is our hadling or mis-handling of God's Gift to us of''Fee Will'...all that aside...nice write...10!

I don't agree with that one.

Yess like Nalaini said being born as a human will be a sin in days to come..but with every birth God gives us a chance to change and learn things which we never learnt in our earlier births... (so its not exactly a sin you see..its for your own good...the more often you are born as a human...teh earlier you'll learn eveything there is to learn in life...ah! it's 'Many masters many Lives' influence on you you see.. *wink*)

I am glad that i am evoking responses from this one, the above similiar lines was told to me by priest when i visited a temple in my place, so he asked me to do whatever good things u can, be a honest person and hope for the best.
For me it sounded right with all the mental trauma and torture involved with being born as a human. Thought i should put it up. Hope this will answer question sara.
    Regards
    Vikram

i agree with you... i think in years to come...the 'human' birth would be the punishment god doles out to the good old neighbourhood puppy...nalini (Report) Reply
