The Blindfold Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Blindfold

Rating: 5.0

The many hills I struggled to climb
Are what made me see
If you only knew the troubles I had,
You probably would understand
But you refused to take off the blindfold
So, you could see I am just a person among
Many who depend on kindness
However, you refuse the chance
That would have made you human

Very, very deep and heartfelt LeeAnn. May there be a sliver lining behind such dark clouds

To be in the shoes of others will make us human. Empathy and kindness are the core values of good men. A wonderful poem with a meaningful message. Beautifully written.
