I am a cow
lactating for my calf.
Men drink my milk and so
they too are my calves.
But in turn
they don't keep a feeling
that I am their mother.
Such emotion is a treasure
that, now a days, animals cherish
And Mankind buries!
Thank you very much dear Nabakishore. We adore cows for it feeds us like a mother
A powerful poem that brings out a flaw in a man's character. Powerful closure lines . Well expressed with a meaningful message.
Thank hou very much dear friend. Man should be thankful to the nature for deriving anything from the nature
I am not trying to uphold the Gomatha ideology but point out the ungrateful exploitation
But in turn they don't keep a feeling that I am their mother.....yes, people forget to worship Gomata. An excellent poem....liked it
