The Currents Of Fate - Tanka
The butterfly swirls
and serenades the roses.
But the dainty blooms,
are caught by the gusty wind,
yield to the currents of fate.

the beauty of the line 'The butterfly swirls and serenades the roses', extends into a tanka of exceptional depth, strangely I have used butterfly flight at the start of an extensive lay to also lead into complex imagery
