The future walks ahead of us
At a bit more handshake length
Spot it early keen and clean
Follow with feet in strength
Hope is that which pulls forward
The future is hope indeed
The past is the base on hope is built
The assessment of our deeds
Moving up we recognize
The present- its entire gift
