The Intelligence In The Mind.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

So many poems about the I.Q. inspired me to write this:
The intelligence in the mind....

This is how the mind of a poet goes
when freedom is by his side,
an intelligence quotient and the like
comes from the intellect of the person
every person has his own intelligence

the statistics need figures
the poets contribute with their puns
differs from close to closer
according to his brain
according to his mind

we can continue
mentioning famous scientists and so on
that does not mean that it itself gets a higher I.Q.
write about wealth
does not mean that it acquires wealth itself

about paradox and paradigms
or about science, wisdom with such enthusiasm
know where to read the poems
you get that audience

you can stay neat and quiet
and the beads continue to string
but never have the necklace finished
or jump out of your skin, suppress your own words
or leave the other satisfied with anger
while taking pills every time
against high blood pressure perhaps

you can jump or shout with all your might
because each person writes his own story
what he thinks he just read in poesie

in this way each poem gets its own loading
countless interpretations of one poem
that's how it is and how it goes with every poem
unless you do it differently
for duty

or count numbers and keep counting
climb up and the hearts keep telling you
how many steps you have taken in poetry

that eternal jammer
needs a hammer
dropped be the hammer
resembles the August clown
an almost crying face all the time

told seriously
we're all getting old
so go to bed early
another day has passed
not hectic,
just very busy

often best to lie in bed
thinking of the morning
duty lies before us, that's how it is
how difficult and easy things are
one must learn to understand each other
and appreciate
having respect does not mean that you have to honour and relate

you have to learn to deal with it
with other opinions
try to appreciate
although you disagree
formulate the words politely

paradox or paradigm
oh oh,i'm stopping now
I have other lectures to do tomorrow

this is now the result
to have read about intelligence quotient
that is always abbreviated
displayed
so often in so many poems

do you still remember,
what am I talking about?

I'm talking about
the intelligence in the mind
and not about
the intelligent mind....
