Rating: 5.0

She sat alone staring into the dark
Into the blue tinged light
Coming from that magical box
In front of her

On and on it went
In the dark
Through the night
To daylight

Had she known...
Would she have cared?
That the feedback she received
From a soul provider
Sat just in front of her
And glowed deviously
With a soft blue light

The computers had won the war...
Three days before...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Machines, robots, computers, all running our lives for us. Dictating, making us addicted to their charm. Mesmerized by the screen and trying to make the thing go faster! ! ! ! ! ! But they rule the day. Timed to the second, minute or hour, whatever. Great piece so very well described, and computers are not easy to describe. Enjoyed this very much. Lover and hugs Ernestine XXX
