The Lost Souls Of Summer
The hordes had gathered,
from far and wide;
With great anticipation,
for what was to behold;
Buoyant from the night,
with moments to treasure;
All filled with excitement,
euphoria and joy;
Most take their magic home,
yet some were about to fall;
Taken in a moment of madness,
confusion and terror;
Memories that were gathered,
now taste bittersweet;
We will always remember,
the lost souls of summer.

A wonderful tribute to the victims of the Manchester Arena Bombing; the deadlies terrorist attack and the first suicide bombing in the United Kingdom. May this write, will in one way or another, gives solace to the bereaved families. Yes, humanity and history will always remember the innocent victims of this heinous crime. Almost has the feel of a sixties CA surfer movie when they would party too hard and then surf drunk and somebody would get too wild and die.
I still remember how it happened, so many parents lost their kids, the darkest day of their lives. Today two years ago. We were all shocked, so many youth died...............An excellent Dedication to the victims of the Manchester Arena Bombing. Congratulations on being chosen as The Member Poem Of The Day. A very nice tribute to the victims of the bombing. Congratulations on having it selected as member poem of the day! However, the word you want in the first line is HORDES, not HOARDS.
