Parched Bermuda grass
Awaits a brewing big storm
To quench its long thirst.

Hi, A haiku par excellence. That a storm precedes a shower is nature’s law, except in the case of Monsoon showers. So, the parched grass awaits a storm. When a storm brews, copious rain is a foregone conclusion.......

Parched Bermuda grass waits for rain. Rain can only quench its thirst. So nicely you have designed this haiku. Thanks again.

I am thinking of Mansoon rains of India. It quenches the thirst of parched grass but never lets us forget that storm is a storm. Very good choice of words in brevity.

The average grass, when dehydrated has a yellowish-white color, but I have seen in Death Valley (the USA) on the Devil's Course, this color represents living grass, life long they have this color, what a difference with the average grass on earth. Fantastic worded brevity about the condition grass could have. Only the rain can quench its long thirst. A myriad of 10's for this loveliest punctually created poem. A dashing concise.
