The Poem Of The Day
Our precious tribute to Poem Hunter and Team!
Dear Poem Hunter and Team
It seems that I have the urge to say this today:
What is in a name that we call The Poem Of The Day?
When I read that, I say CONGRATULATIONS and Hurray!
It is for The Member Poem, the Modern or The Classic
I am happiest to see that and then start to congratulate
The poet and his / her family, this habit of mine is really outdated
but I am a poet
I have my own zest for life
I am a descendant of a true princess
the only truth that I often confess,
first the truth of the Holy Bible
that is The Truth and nothing but The Truth
then follows my place of poetry
often closest to God
These verses to you Dear Poem Hunter and Team,
a poem is one of many, but the title is The Poem Of The Day,
coincidentally Today is the Second Birthday of my first grandson,
the fourth of July
you ask me, or other poets will ask: "Why? "
I have to admit that despite my many poems, I am rather shy
with this brand new poem The Poem Of The Day
I would like to tell you IF I may
we, all poets and poetesses of Poem Hunter Poem Site
make this modest tribute known to YOU and also to Worldwide
we are happiest and in heavenly showers
to tell you that you constantly support us with the best resources
to make us feel like @Home and we consider this in-depth poem site
as our own home in every part of the world worldwide
rest for me on the opinion and belief
of my poetry I finally tell you with great relief
Poem Hunter Poem site is the only place
we never have to race or rush in this earthly space
where the wisest and nicest words are exchanged
and the countless verses arranged and re-arranged
Worldwide with devouring delight, and IF I may
tell you that to these humble hearty words
I give the title of The Poem Of The Day! ….

upon this earthly spot we never need to race nor haste
where the wisest and loveliest words are exchanged

World Wide with Devouring Delight, and IF I may
tell you that to these humble hearty words
