The Princess Ii Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The Princess Ii

Rating: 5.0

Khala Bibi, the loving aunt,
My mother's eldest sister and her mental toys,
In the starry nights of summer vacation,
A rich story teller and the girls and the boys,

A loving heart and a dreaming brain,
He always waited for the old lady,
She lived in a nearby village,
A queen of telling stories, a comedy,

Stories of a brave prince and a wicked elf,
In a fort locking a beautiful princess,
The prince with a sword given by a saint,
In the enchanted castle bravely getting access,

Fighting the elf and killing the beast
Rescuing the princess bringing back to the king,
A decorated dinner and a delicious feast,
Beautiful ring finger and an engagement ring!

One year later when his family shifted to another place,
On the wall he saw portrait of a princess with a crown,
So she is the princess he always wanted to see the grace,
Shocked to know the queen has gone to heavenly town!
