Proceed, proceed, purple ant
Father's name you ever chant.
All over the day you work,
Never do you fall in jerk.
While you see the rice grain,
It falls top of polish plain.
All with your members come
Smile, smile you take some.
While we see you in the park
Mile you show us give the mark.
Word of God you ever tell,
Watching us you ring the bell.
Near you soon all children come
Hear new story press the thumb.
Value and virtue you too teach,
You make them clear soon each.
Whole day you do hard do work
Spread your vision in the murk.
Singing song you climb plant,
Proceed, proceed, purple ant.
Well measured rhymed poem while reading singin' I wrote recently Flowery Bowery.., and the rising sun and.. just read if you get time to read
Nice piece of work. Thanks for sharing this poem with us. E.K.L.
A nice dedication to the people of world, a lovely message to work hard, inspiring description of purple ant.
We human beings have a lot to learn from this tiny soul God has made but with a huge mind suffused with wisdom, discipline and generosity...........a well composed poem with insights
I was drawn in by the wonderful title. You provide a great reminder of the virtues of ants, working so hard, and overcoming obstacles far greater than they are. We can all learn from a purple ant.
a beautiful poem Bhargabi, you have a style with words that is beyond compare :)
This poem has a musical 'ding dong bell' effect! Yes, ants are so hard working and we can learn many valuable lessons from them! Enjoyed this sweetly rhyming poem!
This poem gave me a break from the reading of the usual submissions. The poetic devices applied have worked magically and in terms of quality writing with a pedagogic flavour you have done a marvellous job here madam Mahakul. Here is a 10 awarded for you...
Love the title and loved the whole poem. In Nature's creation these little ants have so much to teach us.
